International Paper

Since 2004, when International Paper (IP) developed the Coins4Kids™ program, their leadership, the Foundation, the employees and volunteers have been providing school meals to millions of children in Nairobi, Kenya. IP employees, their families and volunteers do quite a bit to drive engaging initiatives, including hosting fundraisers such as the Coins4Kids™ auction event, bake sales and basket sales and talking about this program in their communities. Supporters participate by collecting spare money in a red coin collection cup or an online “virtual cup” fundraising page—similar to the cup WFP fills with nutritious food for kids. In addition to IP’s participation, it has become a perfect fundraiser for workplaces, schools, religious institutions, community groups and more.
