The Creative and Brand Manager is charged with overseeing the production of best-in-class creative content across all World Food Program USA channels to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate revenue on behalf of the United Nations World Food Programme. The person in this role will be a superior project manager, adept in stewarding the execution of multimedia content projects from ideation through production and final asset delivery. This includes conceptualizing the art and design on assets such as videos and video scripts, motion graphics, campaign concepts, photography, gifs, infographics, hard-copy and digital documents, and web design.



  • Project manage compelling art and design projects across the Marketing and Communication teams (website, celebrity partnerships, fundraising, media, public relations, events, marketing, advertising, social media, editorial, digital advertising and others).
  • Work directly with and manage external design vendors to effectively steward their projects to completion.
  • Write scripts and copy for marketing materials such as video, ad units, and social media content.
  • Ideate eye-catching content for various print and digital applications including graphic and video assets for use on our website, social media channels, print collateral, digital ads, multimedia presentations and other communication vehicles.
  • Design and layout essential business materials (e.g., business cards, signage, PowerPoint presentations).
  • Synthesize data for the development of infographics and presentation materials to communicate complex concepts and data to a general audience.
  • When needed, shoot video or still photography using basic A/V equipment; serve as point of contact for our media studio equipment and usage.
  • Prioritize workload to deliver assets on time and in scope.



  • 4-6 years of relevant experience developing multimedia content Degree in communications, fine arts, graphic design or related field, or demonstrated success in relevant professional fields.
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (mainly InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop), Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with best practices and current trends for graphics and video content on social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram (IGTV, Reels, and Stories), YouTube, Twitter and TikTok.
  • Must have experience supervising creative teams (either in-house direct report(s) or vendor partnerships)
  • Proven design strategy expertise using big-picture thinking, as well as skills in effective visual storytelling, creative direction, photography and illustration.
  • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, video editing, and web specifications; must have the ability to storyboard or translate ideas from team members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, time management, project management, people management, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment, handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, and deliver in a high-pressure environment during humanitarian emergencies.
  • Must be passionate about solving global hunger and be inspired by the prospect of growing the awareness of the U.N. World Food Programme in the U.S.
