World Food Program USA is looking for a dynamic and creative Director, Corporate Partnerships, New Business, an individual interested in global humanitarian causes and experienced in building impactful corporate-nonprofit partnerships. Reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate Partnerships, this position will be responsible for identification, cultivation, and solicitations of new corporate partnerships, as well as development and implementation of the corporate programs new business strategy. This position and the Corporate Partnerships team play a key role in supporting World Food Program USAs ambitious growth goals for greater impact to support the mission and programs of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP).

  • Identification of new corporate partnership prospects strongly aligned with the mission of the United Nations World Food Programme.
  • Development of high-value partnership concepts and compelling pitch materials, in collaboration with Senior Director, Corporate Partnerships and Director, Corporate Partnerships.
  • Planning and execution of cultivation and solicitation strategies with a portfolio of strategic corporate prospects with a goal of securing seven-figure partnership opportunities, including philanthropy and technical assistance, within 12 18 months.
  • Skillful onboarding of new corporate partnerships to ensure successful transition to a managed partnership.
  • Collaboration with WFPs corporate partnerships counterparts and technical units to develop prospect engagement strategies and partnership proposals.


A well-qualified candidate will possess the following:

  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • Minimum 10 years of experience executing successful corporate partnerships, or other relevant experience
  • Proven track record of securing seven-figure corporate partnerships, including philanthropy, in-kind, and technical collaborations
  • Proven track record of successful strategy planning and implementation
  • Strong understanding of the nonprofit sector, and familiarity with best practices and techniques of corporate fundraising and corporate partnership management
  • Strong understanding of the corporate sector and knowledge of current trends in corporate social responsibility
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
