Salary Range: $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 Salary/year
Location: Hybrid – Washington, D.C.



The Salesforce Associate will be responsible for providing technical support for the platforms relating to the implementation of donor and supporter engagement strategies. As part of the Operations team, the Salesforce Associate will support the administration, configuration, troubleshooting, fault identification, rectification, performance and health monitoring of the Salesforce environments and related supporter engagement platforms. This includes ensuring adherence to the CRM platform security and data privacy standards.



  • Performs Salesforce administrative tasks, such as flows, process automations, security settings and conducts regular security/configuration audits.
  • Provides and takes ownership in supporting end users on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and associated applications, understands business requirements to collaborate with internal teams and in tandem with consulting partners.
  • Maintains documentation on processes, policies, application configuration, user support materials and systems operational manuals and documents.
  • Supports in data analysis and management, including data de-duplication/cleanup.
  • Audits, and resolves data integrity issues.
  • Works with large data volumes for data migration, data update/correction by using DemandTools, or associated tools.
  • Performs analysis and diagnosis of systems problems, and proactively identifying areas for process improvement and automation.
  • Follows established change management strategies to identify system changes and communicates with users to ensure smooth operations.
  • Supports the Salesforce delivery team in the upgrade and enhancement of production environment, participates in agile delivery of new features.
  • Other duties as necessary



  • Bachelors degree or relevant experience
  • Certification in Salesforce Administrator/Developer is a plus.
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in non-profit field or related systems management.
  • Experience with Non-profit Success Pack a plus.
  • Familiarity with marketing, fundraising and advocacy engagements platforms.
  • Experience of working and managing Salesforce app exchange packages.
  • Knowledge on API integration platforms with Salesforce production environment.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, highly organized, and ability to meet deadlines
