Soccer for Ukraine

Millions of people are being forced to flee their homes in Ukraine. By donating now, you’ll help WFP and UNHCR deliver food, shelter and other lifesaving aid to these families in crisis.

#FOOTBALL4UKRAINE

The global soccer community is coming together as one team with two of the largest humanitarian organizations in the world, the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) and the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR), to support Ukrainians affected by the war.

We are working day and night inside Ukraine and its neighboring countries to reach people who urgently need our help.

This joint appeal brings together UNHCR’s expertise in protecting families forced to flee and WFP’s experience in the fight against hunger. Your donation will directly support Ukrainians impacted by the war.

RELIEF ITEMS

Inside Ukraine, UNHCR has been delivering necessities including blankets, sleep mats and emergency shelters. Stockpiles of essential supplies like thermal blankets have been sent to neighboring countries.

LOGISTICS

On behalf of the United Nations, WFP is on the ground in Ukraine and in a number of neighboring countries to lead the emergency telecommunications and logistics responses.

PROTECTION

UNHCR is present at border areas and reception centers to help identify and provide dedicated care to refugees, set up helplines, and provide safe spaces for protection services for children, families and others with specific needs.
