Brigitte Hoyer Gosselink

WFP USA Board of Directors

Brigitte Hoyer Gosselink is Director, AI & Social Impact at Google, where she leads initiatives that leverage emerging technologies and Google’s expertise to address global challenges. She is particularly focused on AI’s potential to responsibly advance social impact goals, working alongside Google’s AI research teams and external partners. She spent the last decade at Google.org, where she oversaw over $500M in funding to enable organizations to responsibly bring the benefits of technology to the issues and communities they serve – working across issues and most deeply on climate, crisis response, education, disabilities, and more. Since 2017, this work was especially focused on AI, and she is a long-time leader in funding and identifying opportunities for AI for good.

Prior to joining Google, Brigitte’s career spanned the social and public sector to deliver innovative approaches for impact through work at The Bridgespan Group, the U.S. Agency for International Development and IRD. She has an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia. At home, she’s the mom to three girls who are endless sources of joy and chaos.
