Emily High Daniels

Emily Daniels is a strategic advisor with Brown Advisory, where she specializes in the development of multi-generational estate and philanthropic planning strategies for families, business owners and entrepreneurs.  Prior to joining Brown Advisory, she was a wealth strategist with Capital One Wealth & Asset Management and Wells Fargo Private Bank, and started her career in the Trusts, Estates and Tax-Exempt Organizations practice of King & Spalding.

A native of Durham, NC, Emily is passionate about ‘next-gen’ philanthropy, impact investing and community wealth building. She currently serves on the Board of Westminster Ingleside Foundation.

Emily holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Hampton University and J.D. from Columbia Law School and is a member of the District of Columbia and Georgia state bars.  She lives in Fairfax, VA with her daughter, Naomi, 4 fish and 100 aquatic snails.
