Emergency in Gaza & the West Bank

Families urgently need food. WFP is on the ground right now providing emergency food supplies to civilians who’ve been impacted by conflict and displacement.

When you give, will those donations make it to people in Gaza?

How We're Helping Families

The World Food Programme has worked in Gaza for decades. Our assistance is critical to averting the further deterioration of this dire humanitarian crisis.

During the ceasefire, WFP distributed food assistance, restocked bakeries, delivered nutrition supplements for mothers and children and provided cash to help people secure essential needs and revive the local economy. WFP continues to support kitchens and bakeries and has enough food stocks support operations for two weeks.

A Humanitarian Catastrophe

In the 42 days of the ceasefire, when aid supplies were allowed into Gaza, the World Food Programme (WFP) significantly scaled up assistance and reached 1.3 million people. The humanitarian crisis in Gaza remains critical. Millions of people are homeless and fully dependent on food assistance. The ceasefire brought much-needed relief to Gaza, but it was far from enough to cover the immense needs.
