2 Ways to Give Through Your IRA
Qualified Charitable Distributions
If you are 72 or older, you can donate up to $100,000 per tax year directly from an Individual Retirement Account (IRA) to charities like World Food Program USA.
These Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD)—also known as IRA charitable rollovers or IRA gifts—may be excluded from your taxable income and qualify toward your required minimum distribution (RMD).
Contact your IRA administrator to make a gift to World Food Program through your IRA.
IRA Beneficiary
Donors may name World Food Program USA as a beneficiary on their Individual Retirement Account (IRA) to sustain our lifesaving work without having to make changes to their will or living trust.
Contact your IRA administrator to request a change of beneficiary form. Please list us as:
Legal Name: Friends of the World Food Program Inc. dba World Food Program USA
Address: 1725 Eye Street NW, Suite 510 Washington, DC 20006
Federal Tax ID #: 13-3843435
Please let us know if you’ve included World Food Program USA as a beneficiary of your IRA so that we can acknowledge your generosity.
To increase the impact of your gift, see if your employer participates in a matching gift program.
