As part of the Institutional Partnership team, Camila manages WFP USA’s relations with civil society organizations and foundations. She specializes in building innovative partnerships and provides bespoke relationship management to align donor priorities with WFP’s global programs. Her work ensures strong impact for every dollar raised and promotes a deeper understanding of WFP’s mission within the U.S. philanthropic community.

Camila is a former human rights lawyer and negotiator with global experience in fundraising and program management. She has worked with development non-profits across Latin America, led information management for emergency humanitarian operations for WFP in Sudan and Timor-Leste, and supported government relations in France. She also served as a political advisor for the Colombian Mission to the UN Security Council in New York. She holds a double master’s degree in Public Administration and International Relations from Syracuse University and Sciences Po in France.

Camila lives in Atlanta. She enjoys chasing the perfect cup of coffee in the Colombian mountains, salsa dancing, and baking for her family.
