As part of the Institutional Partnerships team, Christina Mellace oversees the faith-based portfolio at World Food Program USA. She works with foundations and organizations whose missions are grounded in faith and spirituality, including universities and places of worship, to identify innovative, impactful opportunities for collaboration and engagement with WFP USA in support of the mission of the United Nations World Food Programme.
Prior to this role, Christina was a consultant focused on development and partnerships at WFP USA and served as a philanthropic consultant with Fidelity Investments. She spent 10 years at The Resource Foundation, an NYC-based nonprofit focused on Latin America and the Caribbean, where she led the Programs team before assuming the Executive Director role in 2020. Her career in international development began with fieldwork alongside local nonprofits on the outskirts of Guayaquil, Ecuador. Christina holds a B.A. in Communications from Villanova University and completed an Impact Measurement and Reporting Executive Program at the School of Public Affairs, Baruch College.
Christina resides in New York City, where she enjoys running, baking, and chasing her son around the NYC parks and playgrounds.
