Rebecca Middleton serves as the Chief Advocacy and Engagement Officer for WFP USA, bringing 20 years of experience in policy, advocacy and strategy.
Rebecca started her career in 1997 in Washington, DC, spending five years as a Senior Legislative Assistant for her hometown congressman, Representative Frank Wolf. Between 2002 and 2013 Rebecca worked at the public affairs firm Cassidy & Associates, where she managed lobbying strategy and tactics for a variety of clients including Fortune 500 companies and organizations in the education, healthcare and defense industries.
Afterward, Rebecca applied her advocacy and management expertise to the mission of eradicating hunger—an issue she developed a passion for throughout her personal and professional life. Rebecca joined the Alliance to End Hunger as its COO in 2013 and became its Executive Director in 2016.
Rebecca holds a BA in political science and English from Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, VA.
