Vega directs data analytics projects on behalf of the Finance team, and also oversees the modernization of data architecture alongside the Operations department. She provides WFP USA leaders with strategic guidance on fundraising, marketing, and operational decision-making through data-backed insights.
Previously, Vega served as a lead data analyst at the Library of Congress Federal Research Division, where she helped federal clients leverage large and disparate datasets to publish reports for policymakers and the public. She holds an M.S. in Data Analytics Engineering from George Mason University and a B.A. in Cognitive Science from the University of Virginia.
Vega lives in Washington, DC, where she likes to take long walks and read short stories.
