Women Are Hungrier: Small-Scale Female Farmers

Did you know? More than half of the world’s hungry people are farmers in rural areas who tend fields of five acres or less. Small farmers grow so much of the world’s food, but they face immense challenges and disadvantages, and often go hungry themselves.

But we can change that. One way? Giving female farmers equal access to resources could reduce the number of people living in hunger and poverty by 100-150 million.
