Day in and day out, the United Nations World Food Programme’s humanitarian aid workers deliver life-saving assistance in some of the most physically and emotionally stressful conditions.

From hurricanes and cyclones to outbreaks of conflict and health threats, we respond immediately, delivering humanitarian aid and food to the more than 100 million people suffering from hunger around the world. We’re  the first on the scene in an emergency, providing food and other assistance to millions of people affected by violent conflicts, drought, floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, crop failures and pandemics.
