Araba Samassekou

Araba Samassekou is the Manager of Direct Response at the World Food Program USA.

With over eight years of fundraising experience, prior to joining WFP USA, Araba worked as an Annual Giving Manager at the University of Maryland, College Park where she managed a portfolio of schools and colleges and helped run an extensive multi-channel Annual Giving program that included Direct Mail, Email, Phonathon, Texting, Crowdfunding and Digital Ads.

Araba received a B.A. in International Affairs from Florida State University and holds an M.S. in Law- Homeland Security and Crisis Management from the University of Maryland.
